Retired. Personally, I studied a lot of history and read the Bible over and over beyond count. Yes, I have read, cover to cover, all the major translations and paraphrases in print. I studied Greek, Latin, Spanish, and German. Off the top of my head, these languages make me a novice but, when listening to them, I recall much. At 68 years, I feel I am a good student of the Scriptures.
